Behlen Building Systems designs and manufactures pre-engineered metal building systems. Our metal building systems (MBS) are backed by decades of craftsmanship and service.
We follow a “Design-Build” approach. This approach helps us maximize the value of each building investment. We also welcome the opportunity to work with architects on a “Design-Bid-Build” approach.
Put simply, we make MBS built to last. Our metal building systems can be configured into a nearly limitless combination of widths, lengths, and heights. They provide greater stability than wood frame structures, thanks to their all-steel construction.

Behlen Building Systems is proudly rooted in Columbus, Nebraska. We built our legacy serving the needs of America’s farmers and ranchers. While agriculture remains at our core, we’ve grown to serve a wide range of commercial and industrial end-uses.
In 2020, we merged with another family-owned manufacturing business located in Florida, shown here. This expansion strengthened our ability to deliver custom MBS solutions coast to coast.
