The patented Behlen ZL-16™ / Surlok ™ Architectural Standing Seam Roof Systems do not require seaming as each individual panel is installed. The panel seam is partially formed automatically as the panels are placed, allowing the seaming to be delayed and thus enhancing the speed of installation.   Both the ZL-16™ & Surlok roof system offer reliability, weather resistance, cost-efficient installation, and is easy to seam.

While both panels are equivalent in aesthetics, performance and weather tightness, their nomenclature / availability is regionally dependent based upon project location relative to fabrication resource. Behlen ZL-16™ is targeted primarily to the central, western and northwestern US regions while SurLok™ is targeted for the south, southeastern, east and northeastern US.

2” vertical ribs on 16” centers provide tremendous weathertightness capability along with excellent uplift resistance capacity for coastal and other high wind environments
