Designed by GWWO Inc., the Cade Museum unwinds like a Fibonacci spiral, with only two 90-degree angles in the entire structure. Wedge-shaped galleries radiate from a three-story atrium, embodying the golden ratio found in nature.

Built on a reclaimed industrial brownfield, the project required close coordination with environmental regulators to address coal tar contamination. Oelrich Construction implemented extensive safety measures to prepare the site and bring the architect’s vision to life.

Named for Dr. Robert Cade, lead inventor of Gatorade, the museum reflects his spirit of curiosity, generosity, and innovation. Oelrich also established a student field trip fund for schools in North Central Florida. The field trip fund is administered by the Cade Foundation, to cover transportation costs, connecting classrooms with immersive learning experiences. Since opening, the museum has become a cultural landmark, economic catalyst, and source of inspiration for the region.
