Munds Energy is a state-of-the-art 24,000 square-foot truck service center and corporate office complex, completed in August 2023. The facility was delivered through a design-build partnership with GBS Enterprises, Dondlinger Construction, and WDM Architects, utilizing a pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) system from Behlen Building Systems.

The structure includes a spacious single-story shop area and a two-story office space. Built on a slab-on-grade foundation, the shop was designed for high performance and efficiency, featuring LED lighting, HVLS (high-volume, low-speed) fans, a bridge crane, and multiple overhead doors on both the east and west elevations to accommodate truck flow and service needs.

The office portion of the facility includes modern workspaces, conference rooms, parts storage, and a reinforced high-wind shelter. The shelter is constructed with fully grouted and reinforced masonry walls and a hollow-core concrete lid to ensure safety and compliance with severe weather standards.

The building’s front entrance showcases enhanced architectural finishes, including stone accents, decorative panels, and modern canopies that elevate the curb appeal and corporate image of Munds Energy.
