Grange Co-op
Grange Co-op has been serving the farming and ranching community since 1934. Over the years, the company has continued to grow and offer more products and services to meet customer needs.
In February 2023, Outlier Construction finished building a brand-new Grange Co-op store and office in White City, Oregon. This new building replaces the original 9,500-square-foot store that opened in 2008. That first store quickly became too small because of strong customer support. The new facility is much larger, over 60,800 square feet, and includes:
• More than 22,000 square feet of retail space
• A 15,500-square-foot nursery
• A new business office that now serves as the company’s headquarters
This new White City location is the second largest in the Grange Co-op system.
The store was built with both customers and staff in mind. It includes helpful features like Grange Co-op’s first self-serve dog wash station and a Mellelo coffee bar, making the space welcoming and unique.
On the outside, the building has a modern design with red trim and strong metal wall panels. Inside, the design combines style and function, with open ceilings, exposed insulation, and different wall finishes that work well for both the store and the office.
This project is a great example of how metal buildings can be used to create large, custom spaces that are finished on time and within budget. The White City store not only gives Grange Co-op more room to grow, but it also shows the company’s strong connection to the local farming and ranching community.
